Fire Safety Engineer

Our client is currently recruiting for a Fire Safety Engineer who is a Fire Engineering Specialist to add to their sales team who is based in London or the Home Counties. The Role. The remit for the Fire Safety Engineer role:- • Working with sales team to aid development of Building Fire Engineering Business • Work on UK and Worldwide projects • Develop Building Fire Engineering Strategies • Analysis of potential fires • Recommendations in relation to life safety systems for buildings • Take ownership and develop fire strategies and assist in their final approval • Liaising with key project stake holders • Help to prepare Bids and Tenders The Candidate The Fire Safety Engineer skills and experience:- • Qualified fire safety engineer with ability to deliver business and manage internal and external clients • Expected to take ownership in developing Fire Engineering solutions, fire strategies and assist the sales team • Obtained a qualification in Fire Engineering • Skilled in CFD software and other typical software • Ability to monitor/manage budgets and deliverables for project work • Experienced in developing complete Fire Engineering Strategies for Buildings • Commercial experience in fee bids and fee proposals • Experience with the applicable codes of practice such as Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 7974, etc • Awareness of overseas fire engineering codes such as NFPA and FSEG • Experience of having presented papers, or published articles The Reward The Fire Safety Engineer will be rewarded with an excellent package based on a £45k - £60k salary plus bonus, car allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday and excellent career opportunities.
