Information Security Systems Tutor

My client is one of the most prestigious names in quality management systems certification and they have a superb and rare opening for an ISO 27001 specialist to become an information security systems tutor. The information security systems tutor will be delivering a range of ISO 27001 audit courses from hotels based at strategic locations around the country and helping to create and develop existing courses. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing quality management systems specialist or information security systems specialist to change their career direction and take on a position that is highly interactive and encourages creativity. Responsibilities include: a) Delivery of training courses and solutions to both external and internal customers . b) Deliver internal and external training to an agreed service level. Delivery will be circa 150 days, throughout the UK. Occasionally European and World Wide travel is required. c) To ensure that value is added to the customers business / organisation through the delivery of our clients training courses and solutions. d) To continually enhance the reputation and perception of our client through the delivery of training courses and solutions and day to day interactions with customers and other stakeholders. e) Support development in line with the new course and product development process as appropriate to the discipline. f) Research and analysis for input into the development of training courses. g) Provide assistance with the design of development solutions. h) Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in the relevant disciplines. Successful candidates will have an excellent understanding of ISO 27001 and either BS25999 or ISO 9001. You will have experience of conducting audits to IISO 27001 and preferably be lead audit trained in the standard. Candidates must be able to provide evidence of writing and delivering classroom style training sessions and will be asked to prepare a 1hour training session based around ISO 27001 as a part of the interview process. You must be prepared to conduct extensive travel and be prepared to stay away from home on a regular basis.
